Job summary

Macvee Agri Farms in Cavite seeks a Logistics Planning Specialist to join its operations team on a full-time basis. Based in Iba, Silang, Cavite, this pivotal role will optimize our supply chain operations and implement efficient logistics strategies to support business objectives and performance.

You will oversee production planning, coordinate with growers, transport providers, and customers, and track KPIs while preparing reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related discipline.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in production planning, supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or operations is an advantage
• Background in poultry processing, meat production, FMCG, or food manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with third-party toll manufacturing operations is an added advantage.
• Experience coordinating transportation arrangements and securing regulatory permits is preferred.
• Willing to work in Iba Silang Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Oversees end-to-end production planning and logistics to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective processing and delivery of dressed chicken products.
• Prepares production schedules based on customer demand, manages the procurement of live broiler chickens and production supplies, coordinates inbound live bird transportation and outbound finished product deliveries, and facilitates the necessary transport permits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with growers, suppliers, toll processors, transport providers, sales teams, and customers to maintain smooth operations, optimize inventory levels, and ensure reliable customer service.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive logistics plans that align with production schedules and market demand forecasts
• Coordinating with production, warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of dressed chickens
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, cost per unit and inventory turnover rates
• Preparing detailed logistics reports and presenting findings to senior management
• Troubleshooting logistics challenges and implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions
