Job summary

HGS Offshore Staffing Solutions is seeking an Operations Performance Consultant to streamline supplier operations, act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams, and drive proactive issue resolution.

You will lead data-driven initiatives, develop corrective action plans, and collaborate across business units to optimize lead times, inventory control, and peak-volume readiness during major sales events.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing supplier and internal relationships.
• Formal Lean Six Sigma training or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Solid written and verbal communication, plus documentation skills.
• Ability to work across business units and resolve issues collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central contact for drop ship suppliers and manage relationships.
• Generate reports to monitor supplier performance and identify trends.
• Anticipate issues and implement data-driven preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supplier-related problems.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve supplier performance and metrics.
• Provide guidance to suppliers on process optimization using programs and tools.
• Execute performance outreach and prepare detailed reports on top suppliers.
• Ensure top suppliers are prepared for peak volumes during sales events.
• Leverage dashboards and automation to enhance performance management.
• Engage with suppliers to address late orders and resolve issues.
