Duties and Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including order processing and shipment scheduling.

Supply Chain Optimization

• Analyze supply chain processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to align with company goals.
• Monitor and evaluate transportation performance to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.

Inventory and Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer demands without overstocking.
• Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and tracking of goods.
• Implement inventory control systems to minimize losses and improve accuracy.

Team Leadership

• Manage and lead the logistics team, including drivers, warehouse staff, and coordinators.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with local and national transportation and logistics regulations.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance checks.

Reporting and Analysis

• Monitor logistics performance metrics, such as delivery times, costs, and service levels.
• Prepare and present regular reports on logistics operations, challenges, and achievements to senior management.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position, primarily based in an office with regular visits to warehouses and distribution sites.
• Standard office hours, with flexibility to address urgent logistics issues or meet delivery deadlines.
