Duties and Responsibilities
Logistics Operations
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including order processing and shipment scheduling.
Supply Chain Optimization
- Analyze supply chain processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to align with company goals.
- Monitor and evaluate transportation performance to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
Inventory and Warehouse Management
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer demands without overstocking.
- Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and tracking of goods.
- Implement inventory control systems to minimize losses and improve accuracy.
Team Leadership
- Manage and lead the logistics team, including drivers, warehouse staff, and coordinators.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with local and national transportation and logistics regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance checks.
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor logistics performance metrics, such as delivery times, costs, and service levels.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics operations, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

- Provide leadership and direction to the Logistics Department, by fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and professional growth.

Working Conditions
