AIM Advisory is seeking an analytical and hands-on Logistics Engineer / Planner to join its growing team in Singapore. You will shape the operational backbone of major healthcare infrastructure and hospital developments across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and the Asia Pacific.

You will work with architectural teams and clinical planners to ensure macro-flows and spatial allocations are efficient, compliant and future-proof.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics engineering or planning within complex infrastructure, such as healthcare.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and the ability to translate metrics into spatial requirements.
• Understanding or interest in planning healthcare support departments (e.g., Pharmacy, CSSD, Mortuary).
• Familiarity with health facility guidelines or major infrastructure regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculated area requirements (SOAs) and functional briefs for back-of-house and support departments.
• Map and optimise campus-wide logistics flows (clean goods, waste streams, linen, catering, AGVs).
• Lead stakeholder engagement meetings to validate assumptions and align with logistics constraints.
• Develop and coordinate operational models for automated systems and vertical/horizontal transport strategies.
• Ensure logistics strategies comply with Health Facility Guidelines and regulations.

AIM Advisory is seeking an analytical and hands‑on Logistics Engineer / Planner to join the growing team in Singapore. You will play a critical role in defining the operational backbone of major healthcare infrastructure and complex hospital developments across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and the Asia Pacific - from initial departmental sizing and stacking strategies to mapping complex material, staff, and waste flows. You will work closely with architectural teams and clinical planners to ensure macro-flows and spatial allocations are operationally efficient, compliant and future-proof.

Key responsibilities

• Develop calculated area requirements (SOAs) and functional briefs for critical back-of-house and support departments (e.g., Loading Docks, Waste Management, CSSD, Pharmacy, Kitchen and Supply)
• Map and optimise complex campus-wide logistics flows - including clean goods, waste streams, linen, catering, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) - to eliminate operational bottlenecks and prevent cross-contamination
• Lead stakeholder engagement meetings with Users and operational executives to present operational strategies, validate assumptions, and ensure design outcomes align with best-practice logistics constraints
• Develop and coordinate operational models for automated systems, pneumatic tube networks, and vertical/horizontal transport strategies
• Ensure all logistics strategies and spatial allocations strictly align with the Health Facility Guidelines as applicable and any other relevant regulations

About you

• Experience in logistics engineering or planning, ideally within complex infrastructure, like healthcare
• Strong data analysis capabilities with the ability to translate operational metrics into concrete spatial requirements
• Understanding or interest in the planning of complex healthcare support departments
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific operations (Pharmacy, CSSD, Mortuary, Waste Management)
• Familiarity with health facility guidelines standards or similar major infrastructure regulatory guidelines
• Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to confidently manage expectations, defend spatial calculations, and articulate complex operational concepts to non-technical end users
