Job summary

San Miguel Corporation in the Philippines seeks a logistics planner to coordinate with Opplan on finished goods, buffer stocks, and transport needs. You will designate vehicles and routes to ensure on-time deliveries of Finished Goods, Cage Free Brown Eggs, and packaging materials to customers.

You will monitor transport plans, anticipate weather or traffic disruptions, and schedule daily deliveries across the region, working closely with plants and customers to maintain product freshness and

• Coordinates with Opplan the volume for movement and the number of trucks and container vans needed.
• Coordinates with BPG to facilitate approval of containerized shipping for domestic transfers based on Operations planning transfer plan.
• Designates appropriate vehicles and carriers to maintain freshness and quality of Finished Goods during transport and selects optimum routes.
• Ensures on-time transfers/delivery of FG to plants and customers.
• Monitors movement of production volume needing blast freezing and cold storage facilities and forwards to processing plants for reprocessing.

Main Tasks:

Coordinates with Opplan the volume for movement (buffer stocks & finished goods) to plan and strategize thenumber of trucks & container vans needed
Coordinates with BPG to facilitate the approval of offer sheet of containerized shipping for domestic transfersbased on Operations planning transfer plan
Designates appropriate vehicles and carriers to maintain the freshness and good quality of Finished Goods duringtransport and selection of optimum routes
Ensures on-time transfers / delivery of FG to plants and customers
Ensures and control the movement of production volume that requires blast freezing and cold storage facilities aswell as to processing plant for reprocessing
Anticipates climate/weather disturbance that may affect delivery of Finished Goods during transport
Coordinates and solicits information on current traffic situations, or other incrementing conditions in the differentareas where the products are to be delivered, as well as truck ban schedule

The position is responsible for day-to-day planning, analyzing, consolidating, coordinating and scheduling of the delivery of Finished Products, Cage Free Brown Eggs and Packaging Materials to different customers such as Food Service Institution,retail outlets and Lechon Manok segment.

He also strategizes & executes the movement of products within the Region &inter-island movement based on Operations Planning direction in the least cost-efficient mode.has context menu
