Job summary

BHF Multi Gab Inc. is seeking a committed delivery driver to handle loading, unloading, and securing shipments for customers in Olongapo City, Zambales. The role requires manual and automatic driving ability, a valid license, and reliability in daily operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Branch Manager on any issues, maintaining vehicle safety, training and supporting stockroom activities, and adhering to all safety policies. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• College graduate or high school graduate may be considered if with driving experience.
• TESDA NC II for Driving is an advantage
• With a valid Driver's License (Restriction Codes: 1, 2)
• With professional experience as a driver
• Can drive manual and automatic vehicles
• Able to do vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• With good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work ASAP

Responsibilities

• Physically loads/unloads items for delivery to customers.
• Co-responsible with the delivery driver for security of items during delivery.
• Inspects items for defects against delivery contents.
• Ensures items inside delivery truck are properly stacked to prevent damage.
• Never unload items not yet paid or to unauthorized persons.
• Coordinates with Branch Manager for undelivered or problematic deliveries.
• Reports discrepancies in delivery to Branch Manager.
• Assists the delivery driver in maintaining the vehicle condition.
• When no deliveries, assists stockroom and selling area as needed.
• Performs other tasks assigned by Branch Manager.
• Suggests quality improvements and participates in relevant programs.
• Conducts training seminars or sessions and designs training materials.
• Adheres to safety policies and company rules.
• Performs other functions as required by supervisor.

Job Description

• 1. Physically handles the loading/unloading of all items for delivery to customers.
• 2. Co-responsible with delivery driver for the security of all items included in the delivery such as the main unit, accessories, premium items, and giveaways.
• 3. Manually and physically inspects items for delivery against physical defects, manual, accessories, and premium items or giveaways.
• 4. Assures that all items inside the delivery truck are properly stacked to avoid accidents that may cause damage to the merchandise.
• 5. Never unload items not yet paid.
• 6. Shall not release delivery items to persons without proper authorization.
• 7. Coordinates with Branch Manager in case customer is unlocated or any other problem that may arise during delivery.
• 8. Reports to Branch Manager any discrepancies in delivery.
• 9. Helps the delivery Driver in maintaining the good condition of delivery truck.
• 10. If there are no items for delivery within the day, delivery Driver shall assist the stockman in arranging merchandise inside the stockroom as well as the selling area.
• 11. Performs any other tasks as assigned by Branch Manager from time to time.
• 12. Suggests quality improvements within assigned area/s of responsibility; participates in (or conducts) full-scale quality improvements programs, where applicable.
• 13. Conducts training seminars or learning sessions (and designs appropriate training manuals, as may be required) covering certain subject matters, where applicable, for the benefit of company personnel.
• 14. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures within assigned area/s of responsibility as well as within company’s premises.
• 15. Strictly observe all company rules and regulations.
• 16. Performs other function that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
