Job summary

The BPI DIRECT BANKO,INC. A SAVINGS BANK is seeking a Loans Associate to drive loan origination targets while maintaining high-quality loan portfolios.

You will identify, solicit, and manage loan accounts in the assigned area, perform field work predominantly, and support marketing strategies. The role emphasizes strong relationship management and servicing to ensure portfolio quality and compliance with lending guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a 4-year degree; preferably Finance/Management/Economics.
• Previous sales experience required or strong sales acumen for fresh grads.
• Familiarity with branch community markets and local network.
• Willing to perform field work (95% of the time).

Responsibilities

• Identify, solicit and maintain desirable loan accounts in the assigned area.
• Implement strategies to achieve loan origination targets.
• Gather, assess and validate loan requirements for credit evaluation.
• Assess funding structures suitable to clients' needs.
• Provide proactive account monitoring and servicing to maintain portfolio quality.
• Contribute inputs to improve lending policies and guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervising Business Manager.

Job Description

The Loans Associate is responsible in the achievement of loan origination target and maintenance of good loan portfolio quality of the originated loans. Also responsible in relationship management/account servicing to help ensure maintenance of good loan portfolio quality.

• Identifies, solicits and maintains desirable loan accounts in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Implements identified marketing strategies geared towards the achievement of loan origination target.
• Gathers, assesses and validates loan documentary requirements and salient business information on a first hand/personalized basis both on operational and financial aspects necessary as basis for credit evaluation/review and decision.
• Assesses the most appropriate funding structure and utilization suitable to the clients based on the business’ present needs.
• Implements pro-active account monitoring and servicing activities to help ensure maintenance of good loan portfolio quality.
• Provides inputs for the improvement of existing policies and guidelines of the lending operation
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the supervising Business Manager of the Financial Inclusion and Microfinance Solutions Group.

Minimum Skills/Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year degree course, preferably in business-related disciplines (Finance / Management/ Economics, etc.)
• Previous sales experience is needed but also open to fresh graduates with good sales acumen
• Familiarity with the community of the branch (main markets, target segment, local network and connections, etc.).
• Willing to do field work (95% of the time).
