Profile Requirements:

• Min. 2+ years of experience in loan processing, mortgage broking support or a similar role within the Australian mortgage industry.


• Strong understanding of the Australian home lending process, including loan applications, lodgements, lender requirements and supporting documentation.


• Experience with credit analysis and assessing applications against lender and credit requirements.


• Exceptional attention to detail, with proven ability to maintain clean and accurate customer and loan data.


• Highly organised and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer follow-ups, competing priorities and deadlines independently.

Core responsibilities:

• Manage loan administration and processing tasks, ensuring applications are accurate, complete and progressing efficiently.


• Prepare and submit loan lodgements, ensuring all required information and supporting documentation is included.


• Maintain clean, accurate and up-to-date customer and application data across relevant systems.


• Follow up with customers to obtain outstanding documents, information and requirements needed to progress applications.


• Review applications against credit requirements, identifying missing information, inconsistencies or potential issues.


• Assist with credit analysis and ensure applications meet relevant lender and credit requirements before lodgement.


• Monitor applications throughout the processing pipeline, following up with lenders, customers and relevant stakeholders where required.


• Maintain accurate records and provide general administrative support across the mortgage processing function, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
