Job summary

ZigZag Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing Officer to support credit application processing and underwriting operations. You will review applications and supporting documents, verify financial information, and maintain accurate records.

You will work with internal teams, brokers, merchants, and customers to ensure timely processing and adherence to SLAs, leveraging Excel and banking knowledge.

Qualifications

About the role

You will review applications and supporting documents, verify financial information, conduct credit checks, and maintain accurate application records. You will also work closely with internal teams, brokers, merchants, and customers to ensure applications are processed accurately and within required turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review customer and merchant credit applications
• Check applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy
• Review bank statements and verify applicant and financial information
• Conduct credit bureau and credit checks as required
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain application records in internal systems
• Follow up on missing information or documentation
• Support Credit Risk and Underwriting teams with application processing
• Track applications and ensure agreed turnaround times and SLAs are met
• Respond professionally to application-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders

About you

• Experience in loan processing, credit administration, lending operations, banking, financial services, or underwriting support
• Experience in bank statement checking/review and credit checks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial information and documentation
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong administrative, documentation, and data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple applications and meet deadlines
• Preferably with Australian (AU) lending, banking, mortgage, or financial services experience
• Experience working with brokers, loan applications, CRM, or loan management systems is an advantage
