The position involves reviewing documents, data entry, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with underwriters to ensure timely loan approvals. Office-based or remote work may be available depending on policy.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or similar.
• Strong understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify loan application documents for completeness and compliance.
• Enter and update loan data in processing system.
• Collect borrower documentation such as credit reports, tax returns, and bank statements.
• Communicate with borrowers to obtain missing documents and clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure loan documents comply with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with underwriters to resolve issues for loan approval.
• Track loan status and maintain documentation of communications and actions.
• Perform quality control before submission for final approval.
• Provide customer service and answer questions throughout the process.
