NightOwl Consulting Philippines Inc. is seeking a Loan Data Quality Specialist to verify mortgage loan data after underwriting and before closing. The role reports to the Head of Credit and Quality Assurance in Operations, located with the client engagement.

Responsibilities include reviewing packets, ensuring accuracy, and resolving data discrepancies while collaborating with underwriters and closers in a fast-paced startup environment. Competitive compensation offered in Philippine Peso.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in loan processing within housing market (manufactured housing a plus).
• Proactive and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail to identify discrepancies in loan files.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and requirements.

Description

The Loan Data Quality Specialist reports to the Head of Credit and Quality Assurance and is responsible for verifying all data and documentation related to mortgage loans after receiving information from the Underwriter and before handing it over to the Closer.

Department: Operations

Location: Client

Compensation: ₱55,000 - ₱70,000 / month

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan packets to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Check loan documents and data for consistency and completeness.
• Verify loan data entered into the system to ensure accuracy.
• Review loan files for compliance with regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies or inaccuracies in loan packets, which may involve communicating with borrowers, lenders, and other parties.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to loan data and documentation.
• Collaborate with underwriters, closers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the review process.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Five (5+) years of experience in loan processing within the housing market (manufactured housing experience is a plus).
• Comfortable working in an uncertain, fast-paced environment that evolves as technology and the business scale.
• Proactive and able to work autonomously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
