A global operational support firm is seeking a Security Engineer to manage operating system patching activities. This role includes coordinating patch schedules, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate should have over 4 years of experience with Linux OS and patch management tools, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems.
• 4+ years of experience with patching tools.
• 3+ years of experience with VMWare virtualization environments.
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure or other Cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of Data Center and Cloud infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize pre- and post-patching processes.
• Coordinate patch schedules with business units.
• Create deployment patch packages using defined tools.
• Ensure patches are deployed and tested in pilot groups.

Patching tools (ManageEngine, SCCM, WSUS)

VMWare virtualization environments

Azure or other Cloud environments

Automation tools/frameworks (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)
