Job summary

Tasq Work in Makati, Philippines seeks a network engineer to manage Fortigate firewall deployments, routing and switching, and basic SD-WAN. You will configure firewall policies, migrate applications, coordinate with vendors and bank personnel, and ensure adherence to standards.

Strong hands-on Linux (RHEL), scripting familiarity with NixOS, Cilium, Suricata, nftables, Zeek, and VPN experience (Cisco/OpenVPN) are desired.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fortigate or ASA firewall platforms and policy configurations.
• Experience migrating network infrastructure through firewalled environments.
• Strong documentation and handover to operations.
• VPN and remote access experience (Cisco/OpenVPN).
• Linux (RHEL) hands-on and scripting familiarity.
• Basic SD-WAN knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure firewall policies and deployments.
• Plan, coordinate and execute network delivery projects.
• Interact with internal/external vendors and bank personnel to ensure delivery.
• Document work and hand over to the operations team.
• Maintain compliance with bank standards and controls.
