Job summary

TASQ in Makati, Philippines is seeking a network professional to manage Fortigate firewall deployment, routing and switching, and basic SD-WAN knowledge. You will configure firewall policies, migrate applications, and coordinate with vendors and bank personnel.

The role emphasizes project planning, documentation handover to operations, and ensuring compliance with bank standards. Strong communication and linux/scripting skills (RHEL, NixOS, Suricata, Zeek) are valued.

Fortigate Firewall + Routing & Switching + Only Basic of SDWAN

• Firewall technology: Fortigate , ASA
• Router and switches: Cisco
• Firewall application migration methodology and execution
• Configuring Firewall policies and deployments
• Project experience preferably in migration Network infrastructure and application flow through firewalled environment
• Planning, coordination and execution of assigned network delivery project
• Perform coordination with internal/external vendor, internal bank personnel and other stakeholder for matter relating to network delivery
• Ensure compliance on work carried out against the bank standard, process and control
• Perform documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to operation team
• Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
• Technical certifications in Networking Technologies( Routing & Switching, Firewalls)
• Basis knowledge on SDWAN will be added advantage
• Linux: strong hands‑on (RHEL)
• Scripting: NixOS, Cilium, Suricata, nftables, Zeek experience preferred
• VPN: Remote access (Cisco / Fortinet / OpenVPN)
