Job summary

Tasq Work is seeking a Network Engineer for a banking network delivery project in Makati. You will plan, coordinate, and execute migrations through firewalled environments while ensuring compliance with bank standards.

The role emphasizes documentation, knowledge transfer to the operations team, and strong communication with vendors and internal stakeholders. The hybrid setup offers 3x WFH and 2x on-site in Makati.

Qualifications

• Firewall technology experience with Fortigate and ASA.
• Experience with router/switches from Cisco.
• Experience migrating networks through firewalled environments.
• Configuring firewall policies and deployments.
• Project experience migrating network infrastructure and application flows through firewalled environments.
• Coordination with vendors, bank personnel and stakeholders for network delivery.
• Documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to operations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Networking certifications in Routing & Switching and Firewalls preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SD-WAN is a plus.

Fortigate Firewall + Routing & Switching + Only Basic of SDWAN

• Firewall technology: Fortigate, ASA
• Router and switches: Cisco
• Firewall application migration methodology and execution
• Configuring Firewall policies and deployments
• Project experience preferably in migration Network infrastructure and application flow through firewalled environment
• Planning, coordination and execution of assigned network delivery project
• Perform coordination with internal/external vendor, internal bank personnel and other stakeholder for matter relating to network delivery
• Ensure compliance on work carried out against the bank standard, process and control
• Perform documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to operation team
• Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
• Technical certifications in Networking Technologies( Routing & Switching, Firewalls)
• Basis knowledge on SDWAN will be added advantage
