Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Geodetic or Civil Eng. with surveying training.
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer preferred; Civil Engineer or Surveyor with construction survey exp may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year building construction surveying experience including layout, line and grade control, and as-built surveys.

Responsibilities

• Perform site layout, setting-out, and control points establishment for structural, architectural, MEPF, and site development works.
• Verify layout accuracy against approved drawings and project coordinates.
• Verify line, grade, elevations, alignment, plumbness, and dimensions; report discrepancies.
• Prepare survey reports, field records, as-built surveys, and quantity measurements.
• Coordinate survey activities with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Maintain survey control points, protect data, and assist in measurements and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE plan and PPE; observe safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Location: Sambag, Jaro, Iloilo City

Survey Layout

• Perform site layout, setting-out, and establishment of control points for structural, architectural, MEPF, and site development works.
• Verify layout accuracy based on approved drawings and project coordinates.

Line & Grade Control

• Verify line, grade, elevations, alignment, plumbness, and dimensions to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and tolerances.
• Report discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to prevent rework.

Survey Documentation

• Prepare survey reports, field records, as-built surveys, and quantity measurements.
• Coordinate survey activities with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Quality Control

• Ensure survey works comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Verify survey accuracy and maintain calibrated survey instruments.

Safety Compliance

• Perform survey activities in accordance with the project's HSSE Plan and DOLE OSH requirements.
• Observe PPE requirements and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Coordination & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the project team to support timely and accurate construction.
• Maintain survey control points, protect survey data, and assist in project measurements and as-built documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• a) Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering or Civil Engineering.

License Requirement (if any)

• a) Licensed Geodetic Engineer is preferred but not required; experienced Civil Engineer or Surveyor with relevant construction survey experience may also be considered.

Work Experience/Training Requirement

• a) Minimum 1 year of experience in building construction surveying, including layout, line and grade control, and as-built surveys.

Skills and Ability

• a) Proficient in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; knowledgeable in construction surveying, coordinate systems, and interpretation of engineering drawings, with strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
