Job summary

Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure DevOps, and automate release workflows across Dev, Stage, QA, and Production environments.

You will optimize cloud and containerized workloads (Azure, Kubernetes/AKS, Docker), support platform operations, and contribute to DevSecOps improvements while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, or release management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build/release automation, deployment troubleshooting, and source control workflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, YAML, scripting (PowerShell/Bash).
• Proficiency with Azure Cloud Platform, Kubernetes/AKS, Docker, Linux, Windows Server; knowledge of networking and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release workflows across Dev, Stage, QA, and Production.
• Manage Azure DevOps repositories, boards, pipelines, release approvals, and environment controls.
• Apply source control practices and branching strategies; support deployment gates and automation.
• Support deployment troubleshooting and pipeline integration for development teams.
• Operate Azure cloud resources, Kubernetes/AKS clusters, and Docker environments.
• Handle server configuration, patching, and infrastructure updates.
• Assist with infrastructure as code and environment provisioning.
• Support platform operations for Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, MS SQL, Oracle, Linux, Windows services.
• Monitor health and performance, handle incidents, and respond to alerts.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and service requests within SLAs.
• Handle tickets and coordinate escalations as needed.
• Maintain runbooks, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve delivery consistency.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and process improvements.
• Stay current on DevOps trends and best practices; participate in DevSecOps initiatives.
