Job summary

Physicians' Diagnostic Services Center Inc. is seeking a Licensed Physician to serve as a Medical Evaluator/Examining Physician for seafarers and overseas workers. You will conduct comprehensive physicals, review results, and determine fitness for deployment in accordance with clinic protocols and guidelines.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and confidentiality. Location is Ermita; in-person work with immediate start preferred and opportunities to present

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed medical doctor in the Philippines.
• 2+ years of clinical practice preferred.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
• MOSH training is a plus.
• Experience in PEME or occupational health is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of seafarers and overseas workers, including initial and repeat examinations.
• Review and evaluate laboratory, diagnostic, and other medical results with attention to significant findings.
• Interview examinees to verify medical history and symptoms.
• Assess findings and determine management plans per medical standards and guidelines.
• Provide medical consultations, advice, and prescriptions when indicated.
• Request additional diagnostic procedures as medically necessary.
• Refer examinees to accredited specialists or facilities when needed.
• Provide health counseling on medication adherence, lifestyle, and diet.
• Document clinical findings, assessments, plans, and recommendations accurately.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of medical records per clinic protocols.
• Participate in fitness-to-work/deployment assessments as required.
• Conduct health awareness lectures and seminars; may include extra compensation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
