Job summary

XISCO is seeking a Shift Engineer to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems on the assigned shift. The role oversees maintenance activities, troubleshoots issues, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key duties include operating and monitoring machinery for optimal performance, performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime, enforcing safety procedures, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• 5 years of experience minimum.
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery, systems, and processes relevant to the industry.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery, systems, and processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments, to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including conducting safety inspections, implementing safety procedures, and addressing safety concerns promptly.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
