Job summary

Nidec Instrument (Philippines) Corporation is seeking a Facilities Engineer (Licensed Electrical Engineer) to support PEZA compliance and maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems at our Laguna facility. The role covers safety, energy conservation, and documentation to ensure continuous, compliant plant operations.

Ideal candidates hold a PRC Electrical Engineer license, have 2+ years in a similar capacity, and may be energy-management certified.

Qualifications

College degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience or training in the same capacity.
PRC license as Electrical Engineer is updated.
Preferably Certified Energy Manager or Energy Management Training.

Responsibilities

Manage PEZA requirements: prepare and archive documents for PTO, test mechanical equipment for safety and environmental compliance.
Maintain electrical systems: analyze systems, generate reports, and implement energy-saving programs; respond to issues with proper documentation.
Maintain mechanical systems: review systems like compressed air, ventilation, DG, cooling tower; document plans and inventory; ensure safety compliance.
