Responsibilities

• Assist in performing laboratory analyses of test samples (paint, cement, water, asphalt, soil, aggregate, zinc coating, steel).
• Train in handling and storage of test samples and disposal of tested samples.
• Prepare chemical reagents for testing.
• Maintain complete records of chemical test data and submittals.
• Submit test results to the Section Head for checking.
• Maintain orderliness and safety in the chemical area.
• Identify and report risks to the Section Head; assist in risk assessments.
