Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Chemist.
• Familiar with ISO/IEC 17015 standard.
• Preferably with experience in cement testing – physical and chemical testing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling work to meet demands set by department and clients.
• Perform detailed preparation and analysis of samples – chemical analysis and physicochemical analysis according to published methods and laboratory procedures.
• Monitor the validity of the analysis performed and data generated in the laboratory.
• Generate results from raw data, performing primary review against method criteria.
• Conduct quality control checks and participate in assigned proficiency testing schemes.
• Monitor the inventory of controlled chemicals and materials.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by immediate head.
