Job summary

SGS is seeking a Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician for a full-time role in Makati, Philippines. The candidate will perform analyses, prepare reagents, and ensure compliance with QMS and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a university/college degree in BS Chemistry, BS Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or Agrichemistry, or related sciences.
• Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician.
• Open to fresh graduates.

Responsibilities

• Performs sampling, testing and analyses as defined in the Matrix of Laboratory Tests and in accordance with the QMS and Safety policies.
• Prepares reagents and test solutions and standardizes volumetric solutions per standard methods.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and ensures accurate records and documentation.
• Reports and updates test results with statistical quality control considerations.
• Coaches junior lab staff on test performance and sample preparation.
