Job summary

Abuelita Inc. is seeking a licensed Bookkeeper to manage the company's day-to-day financial records, BIR compliance, and transaction processing as the company grows its operations, including new business lines.

Responsibilities include recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, filing BIR forms on schedule, and coordinating with external accountants for annual filings. This role requires discretion and accuracy in handling confidential data.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible to practice as a bookkeeper in the Philippines.
• Knowledge of BIR filing requirements and deadlines.
• Experience with bookkeeping software and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions (sales, expenses, payroll-related entries).
• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash.
• Prepare periodic financial reports (income statement, balance sheet).
• Prepare and file required BIR forms and returns on schedule (VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
• Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for annual filings.
• Maintain filing systems (physical/digital) for financial and tax documents.
