A construction firm in Metro Manila is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to review technical requirements, perform inspections, and verify compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have a B.S. in Architecture and 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC in construction. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred. This role includes on-site presence during project execution.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate technical requirements and documents for content and quality.
• Perform all acceptance inspections, examinations and tests. Witness and verify inspections and tests performed by others are in accordance with established requirements and criteria.
• Verify that quality certification records and reports are accurate, complete and legible.
• Verify that all measurement and test equipment is within prescribed accuracy limits and in good working order prior to performance of acceptance inspection or test.
• Report and document any discrepancies noted for resolution and corrective action. Track all deficiencies relative to his/her responsibilities until repaired and accepted.
• Assist in scheduling and attend Preparatory Phase meetings, Initial Phase inspections and continually follow up on work in place.
• Be present on-site when work is in progress in his/her area of coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Architecture course, board passer.
• At least 2‑3 years’ experience in construction as Quality Assurance/Quality Control related field is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Implementation is preferred.
