Develop and Execute Architectural Designs
- Create conceptual designs, technical drawings, and specifications for office projects.
- Ensure design accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project goals.
Lead and Coordinate Project Teams
- Supervise and mentor junior architects, draftsmen, and other design staff.
- Assign tasks, review outputs, and provide constructive feedback.
Space Planning and Optimization
- Design layouts that maximize efficiency, workflow, and comfort.
- Apply ergonomic, functional, and sustainable design principles.
Select and Approve Materials and Finishes
- Evaluate and recommend materials, furnishings, and finishes based on aesthetics, durability, and cost efficiency.
- Approve final selections for procurement.
Ensure Compliance with Regulations
- Review and verify that plans meet building codes, zoning laws, accessibility standards, and environmental regulations.
- Apply sustainable architecture practices where feasible.
Collaborate with Stakeholders
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and proper execution.
- Resolve design-related issues during all project stages.
Conduct Site Visits and Inspections
- Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with approved plans.
- Identify and address any deviations or nonconformities.
Manage Project Timelines and Budgets
- Track deliverables, schedules, and costs for architectural work.
- Implement corrective measures to meet deadlines and financial targets.
Prepare Documentation and Reports
- Maintain organized records of designs, revisions, and approvals.
- Present project updates to clients and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect.
- 1-3 years of experience in architectural design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design principles.
