Job summary

Prudential is seeking a dedicated Legal Counsel to support the Legal and Corporate Governance requirements of the company and its subsidiaries. You will provide day-to-day legal advice, draft and review contracts, identify risks, and handle regulatory filings in a fast-paced environment.

The role also involves supporting governance matters, maintaining contract records, and improving legal workflows in coordination with the regional and group offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with active bar membership and good standing.
• Experience in corporate, regulatory and contract matters.
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to business units on day-to-day operations and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents within turnaround times.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical mitigations aligned with policies.
• Handle function-related regulatory filings for the company and subsidiaries.
• Support corporate governance matters and board materials as needed.
