Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead daily production execution in an assembly plant. You will guide teams, improve processes, and support line transfers, capacity changes, and readiness while using data to drive decisions.

You will collaborate across functions to ensure safety, quality, output and on-time delivery, applying Lean methods and coaching supervisors to strengthen standard work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Manager in industrial environments; HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
• Strong Lean manufacturing experience and ability to apply CI in a plant setting.
• Experience supporting assembly plant operations, including line transfers and capacity ramp-ups.
• Data analytics skills with KPI interpretation using Power BI or Tableau.
• Business English proficiency across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, output and delivery targets.
• Coordinate production planning, staffing, escalation across operations, quality, supply chain, engineering and maintenance.
• Support line transfers, process changes, new product introductions, and ramp-up activities.
• Drive Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve flow and standard work.
• Use KPI tracking and data analysis to monitor productivity and cost performance.
• Develop supervisors and team leads to improve execution and accountability.
