Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Test Engineer to support all test activities for power supplies and ensure high-quality production output. The role leads the test team, promotes best practices, and guides technicians under the Test Engineering Manager.

The candidate will drive continuous improvement, coordinate audits, and work with multiple functions to resolve quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Process or Equipment Test Engineering.
• Strong background in digital and analog electronics.
• Experience preparing test-related reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of test programming and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of test performance for power supplies.
• Resolve test setup issues for customer and in-process concerns.
• Serve as the factory focal point for audits, complaints and queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality and reliability issues.
• Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions and effectiveness verification.
• Support product transfers and capacity expansion with timely test deliverables.
• Drive KPIs such as ECOs and test-related improvements.
• Ensure test personnel stay updated with current technologies and skills.
