Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Technician is a highly skilled and experienced team member who performs complex inspections, tests, and quality audits. This role requires broad and comprehensive experience with quality systems and measurement techniques. Working with a high degree of autonomy, this individual is a proactive partner in problem-solving and training others to uphold Allegro's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs the most complex inspections and tests, often involving advanced equipment programming (e.g., CMM programming) or challenging setups.
  • Leads and conducts internal process and product audits to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Trains and certifies other technicians and operators on inspection methods, equipment use, and quality standards.
  • Actively participates in root-cause analysis and corrective action teams, providing valuable data and insights.
Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in a technical support role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality control methods, metrology, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train and mentor others.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative to improve quality processes.
