Job Summary

The Senior Technician is a highly skilled trades professional who troubleshoots and repairs the most complex equipment issues and may lead maintenance projects. This role requires broad and comprehensive experience and knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and automated systems. Working with a high degree of autonomy, this individual is a proactive partner in improving equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnoses and resolves the most complex equipment failures, often involving intermittent or system-level problems.
  • Leads complex repair, overhaul, or installation projects for key manufacturing equipment.
  • Trains and mentors other technicians on advanced troubleshooting techniques and new equipment.
  • Analyzes equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend and implement improvements to maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in a technical support role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An Associate's degree or advanced technical certification is highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of complex electromechanical systems, robotics, and PLCs.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead technical projects.
