Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to advance our technical workforce across engineering and manufacturing teams. You will design, deliver, and update training programs to build skill and ensure quality.

Qualifications

What You Will Do
  • Curriculum Development & Instruction: Design, prepare, and deliver technical skills training courses and lesson plans. You will instruct participants through classroom lectures, online modules, hands‑on group sessions, and practical demonstrations.
  • Certification & Competency Governance: Manage and maintain the certification and recertification programs for technical and maintenance personnel. You will create and continually update written, online, and practical exams to verify technical competency.
  • Needs Assessment & Collaboration: Collaborate directly with engineering and maintenance teams to perform detailed training needs analyses. You will translate operational changes, technical specifications, and updated maintenance procedures into impactful training content.
  • External & Internal Course Coordination: Research, recommend, and organize both internal and external technical training courses to meet the evolving technological needs of the organization.
  • Compliance & IATF Alignment: Ensure all technical learning and development processes comply with strict IATF 16949 and quality management standards.
  • Tracking & Comprehensive Reporting: Monitor, track, and evaluate the progress of trainees and overall program effectiveness, providing detailed reports to management. You will maintain meticulously organized physical and digital training histories, manuals, and records for audit readiness.
  • Onboarding & Mentorship: Conduct counseling to address workmanship discrepancies or behavioral challenges of new hires undergoing technical training.
What You Will Bring
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, Human Resources, or a related technical field (or an equivalent combination of education and hands‑on technical training experience).
  • Technical Training Expertise: Proven experience developing and delivering technical training curriculum, preferably within an advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or automotive environment.
  • Equipment & Process Literacy: Strong familiarity with manufacturing equipment, tools, and maintenance practices, with the ability to quickly grasp and translate complex technical procedures into simple learning steps.
  • Quality Standards Alignment: Solid understanding of training compliance and documentation requirements under IATF 16949 or ISO 9001.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding presentation, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to effectively mentor diverse technical learning groups.
  • Organizational Rigor: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure zero-gap tracking of historical training records and certification compliance.
