Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer to lead programming activities in a global environment. The role emphasizes ADaM and TLF, CDISC standards, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring on-time delivery and regulatory readiness.

You will collaborate with biostatistics, programming teams, and sponsors, contributing to complex SDTM/ADaM deliverables and knowledge transfer across the department.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a scientific or statistical field.
• Require 8+ years programming experience in Clinical SAS and ability to lead multiple complex/global projects.
• Must have strong experience in ADaM & TLF; submissions to regulatory agencies is a plus.
• Experience mentoring others in clinical trial processes and CDISC Standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Uses SAS or other software to develop programming code for summary tables, listings, graphs and derived datasets per the SAS SP and specs.
• Performs validation programming and coordinates with team to resolve discrepancies.
• Follows SOPs and regulatory guidelines; maintains project documentation and inspection readiness.
• Leads programming deliverables, mentors staff, and provides risk mitigation plans.
• Participates in sponsor meetings and contributes to training and knowledge sharing.
