Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a solar power plant’s safe, reliable operations.

You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires 2–3 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy facilities, knowledge of electrical codes, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Engineer.
• 2–3 years' experience in plant operations and maintenance, preferably in utility-scale renewable energy facilities.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans (daily to annual).
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to optimize plant performance.
• Plan maintenance for solar plant equipment including inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Supervise electricians and maintenance personnel in repairs and replacements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with JHA, HIRAC, LOTO, and work permits.
