Job summary

INSPI Philippine is seeking a Product Development Officer to support planning, new development, and improvement of skincare/cosmetic products from concept to launch. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to turn ideas into viable, competitive products.

The role requires market research, regulatory awareness, and close collaboration with R&D, marketing, and QA to ensure quality, safety, efficacy, and alignment with brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in skincare product development or similar role in cosmetic/beauty industry.
• Knowledge of skincare ingredients, formulation, and product testing processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, manufacturing).
• Knowledge of skincare regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new skincare products from ideation to launch.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitors.
• Collaborate with R&D to create formulations that meet brand standards.
• Assist in creating product roadmaps and timelines for development and launch.
• Oversee testing to ensure safety and efficacy evaluations.
• Monitor product performance data and adjust formulations or strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing to define positioning and messaging for new products.
• Support regulatory compliance and ensure claims are substantiated.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales to support successful product launches and lifecycle management.
• Maintain thorough documentation of the development process and provide regular updates to senior management.
