Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to own data modeling, manage large data volumes, and integrate Salesforce with external systems. You will drive complex business logic and work with a multi-national team to enhance performance and scalability.

The role requires at least 5 years of software development experience, 1+ year of leading teams, and strong Salesforce expertise including Apex and integrations. English communication at B2+ level is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams.
• Extensive command of the Salesforce platform for enterprise solutions.
• Strong Salesforce development skills including custom applications and components.
• Proficient in Salesforce Apex for server-side logic.
• Experience with Salesforce Automation Processes to optimize workflows.
• Experience with Salesforce Integration with external systems and third-party services.
• Strong verbal and written English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep command of the Salesforce platform with a focus on data modeling to support complex business needs.
• Coordinate with a 6–10 member team and external vendors to advance the Salesforce platform within telecommunications.
• Participate in regular meetings with client managers and the development team to review requirements and progress.

• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Perform technical investigations, analyze results, and propose optimized solutions.
• Develop new features and enhancements guided by analysts and product owners.

We are seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer who will take ownership of data modeling, managing large data volumes, integrating with external systems, building complex business logic, diagnosing and resolving issues, and enhancing performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep command of the Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on data modeling to support intricate business needs
• Collaborate closely with a group of 6 to 10 team members and coordinate with external vendors to advance the Salesforce platform within the telecommunications industry
• Participate in recurring meetings with client managers and the development team to review project requirements, communicate progress, and agree on upcoming actions
• Use strong communication abilities to articulate ideas clearly and partner effectively in pursuit of common goals
• Juggle several tasks at once and adjust quickly to changes in a fast-moving work setting
• Perform technical investigations, examine the results, and recommend optimized solutions aligned with business priorities
• Develop new features and improvements from scratch, guided by direction from analysts and product owners
• Offer continuous support, roll out enhancements, and refactor and fine-tune existing functionality during the maintenance stage

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional, hands-on experience in software development
• At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
• Substantial practical command of the Salesforce platform for delivering enterprise-level business solutions
• Strong background in Salesforce Development, including the creation of custom applications and components
• Skilled use of Salesforce Apex for building advanced server-side business logic
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Automation Processes for optimizing business workflows
• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce Integration, including linking Salesforce with external systems and third-party services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or above)

• Practical experience with Salesforce CPQ for handling product configuration, pricing, and quoting in complex sales situations
