Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a Lead Salesforce Business Analyst to lead day-to-day functional delivery across Salesforce projects. You will collaborate with RevOps, Corp IT, GTM, and Finance to design scalable solutions, manage intake and sprint planning, and drive successful execution of initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in business analysis with leadership experience, Salesforce expertise, and strong communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of business analysis experience with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day functional delivery and execution of Salesforce initiatives across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with RevOps, Corp IT, GTM, Customer Care, IT, Finance to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Own intake, planning, and tracking of Salesforce initiatives; facilitate sprint planning and drive execution.
• Design and document business processes and system workflows; guide solution design and risk mitigation.
• Support metrics reporting and ensure security configurations with CorpIT for internal/external users.

What You'll Do

A successful Lead Salesforce Business Analyst will lead the day-to-day functional delivery and execution of Salesforce initiatives, owning the assignment and progression of work across multiple projects. You will work closely with stakeholders across RevOps, Corp IT, GTM, Customer Care, IT, Finance and other internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and proof-of-concepts that support business processes, automation and transformation.

This role is responsible for managing the intake, planning, and tracking of Salesforce-related initiatives, including facilitating sprint planning, and driving project execution through to completion. You will leverage deep Salesforce expertise to guide solution design, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with business objectives, delivering scalable solutions that improve KPIs and ROI.

Lead Responsibilities:

• Planning: Align team skills and capacity with organizational goals, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions.

• Quality Assurance: Review and validate team deliverables including user stories, process maps, and documentation to ensure consistency and excellence.

• Resource Allocation: Manage workload distribution based on business priorities, impact, and urgency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert in Salesforce process re-design and optimization.

• Lead the design and documentation of business processes and system workflows.

• Collaborate with technical teams to configure Salesforce tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Lightning App Builder).

• Develop and validate user stories and requirements for specifications.

• Support metrics reporting and performance tracking across projects.

• Work with CorpIT to ensure security configurations are properly managed for internal and external users.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role

• Experience with platforms such as DocuSign, Zoominfo, Salesloft is advantageous.

What You May Need to be Successful:

• Lead Experience: Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects from conception to completion.

• Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce tools and platform configuration.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

• Process Mapping: Proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro is a plus.

• Analytical Tools: Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Certifications: Salesforce-Certified Administrator and/or Business Analyst preferred.

Working Environment

• For remote or hybrid positions, you must have a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions and ensures privacy.

• Working at home requires internet speeds that can support the Company systems; a minimum download speed of 120mps and 10mbp upload is required. Computers must be hard wired to a router (We provide equipment).

• All remote employees must be on camera for all training sessions, including new hire orientation and meetings with leaders and clients.

• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, and phone.
