Job summary

Liberty Paper Inc. is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead the Quality Assurance team and ensure our corrugated box products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

You will supervise daily QA activities, monitor end-to-end processes from materials to finished goods, and drive CAPA to sustain continuous improvement while mentoring QA staff in a busy Laguna plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in corrugated box manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes and quality standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, SPC, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willing to work shifting schedules when required.
• Experience in Laguna manufacturing plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QA activities and ensure implementation of quality standards.
• Monitor performance from raw materials to finished products.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct inspection, testing, and verification of products and processes.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints; implement CAPA.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Analyze data from inspection, WIP, and other departments to resolve quality concerns.
• Monitor quality trends, defects, and records; recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA staff.
• Coach and develop QA inspectors and team members.
