Job summary

SimCorp in Manila is seeking an Onboarding Project Manager to lead all aspects of infrastructure onboarding for the Azure cloud hosting platform. You will coordinate across Sales, Consulting Services, SaaS Onboard Operations, and SaaS Innovations to design, build, deploy, track progress, and drive go-live and Run operations.

You will manage client engagement, resources, finances, risks, and stakeholders while aligning with global PMO standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multi-stream infrastructure platform projects in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of financial technology and asset management processes.
• Familiar with SaaS and hosted cloud environments; Azure exposure is a plus.
• PMI/PMP certification current or within 12–24 months of hire.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel to APAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infrastructure Onboarding projects from inception to go-live using our standard agile methods.
• Manage multiple onboarding workstreams, tasks, dependencies and resource estimates with regular status updates.
• Coordinate handovers from Sales to Onboarding and Onboarding to Run Operations from an infrastructure perspective.
• Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and document outcomes.
• Contribute to best practices, templates and global process improvements with the Global PMO.
• Create and maintain project artefacts (plans, RAID logs, status reports, change management).
• Monitor customer feedback and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Motivate the project team and drive continuous improvement across the program.

We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. In order to onboard new and existing client projects and enable our clients to reach their desired business outcomes, the Project Manager role is essential to SimCorp.

We are looking for a Project Manager to handle all aspects of the Onboarding and Infrastructure Process to the SimCorp Azure cloud hosting platform. Our hosted offer includes: SimCorp Dimension and all other As a Service products at clients in the APAC region.

As our new Onboarding Project Manager, you will learn and follow our standard processes to initiate a project with a handover from Sales to Consulting Services. You will work closest with SaaS Onboard Operations and SaaS Innovations teams to design the platform, build and deploy all work associated with the platform, track progress throughout the project and finally see the client to Launch and Run.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Infrastructure Onboarding projects including client engagement, resource management, financial management, and stakeholder complexity. You will lead project execution with a focus on providing greater customer value and outcomes while better measuring and reducing risk for SimCorp.

You will be part of a global team of PM professionals who will support you in getting into the role and growing your career on our Project Manager path.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Managing all aspects of the SimCorp Infrastructure Onboarding process: Delivering projects using our standard agile methods across all project phases including Dawn, Design, Swarm, Develop, Deploy, Dissect and Deliver through client Go-live
• Managing multiple Onboarding projects and related workstreams - identifying all required tasks, dependencies, and time/resource estimations as well as providing regular status updates
• Managing handovers from Sales to Onboarding and from Onboarding to Run Operations from an infrastructure perspective
• Facilitating business requirements gathering workshops
• Contributing to improvement and documentation of best practices for Onboarding projects globally in collaboration with Global PMO
• Creating and maintaining required project artefacts such as project plan, reports and RAID log, status reports and the change management process
• Effectively monitoring customer feedback and reporting
• Diligently identifying and mitigating risk
• Motivating the project team and ensuring continuous improvement within the team
• Maintaining and updating project standard artifacts, processes and procedures

WHAT WE VALUE

• Experience in delivering multi-stream infrastructure platform projects as well as migration and transformation projects in complex business environments
• A very good understanding of financial technology and business processes, especially with asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies or large banks
• Familiar with Software As A Service (SaaS) and in the context of setting up hosted cloud environments. Previous work with MS Azure is a plus.
• Current PMI/PMP certification or sit for exam within 12-24 months of hire
• Knowledge and experience of the Investment Management/Asset Management/Financial Services industries is a strong asset
• Familiarity with implementation focused projects in the Financial Technology sector is a plus
• Great communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel to client sites in APAC from time to time.
