Job summary

vCustomer Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Network Operations Engineer to support large-scale Cisco networks, resolving incidents and implementing changes across 500+ devices.

You will perform root cause analysis, deploy permanent fixes, monitor environments, and participate in rotating on-call shifts to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of Network Operations, NOC, or Network Engineering experience.
• 500+ device enterprise networks experience.
• Strong Cisco Routing & Switching expertise.
• Hands-on experience with: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; STP, VTP; TCP/IP and OSI Model; Packet capture and Wireshark analysis; Cisco IOS-XE devices.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Operations Engineer to support and maintain large-scale enterprise networks. You'll be responsible for incident resolution, root cause analysis, network changes, and ensuring high availability of critical Cisco network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute network configuration changes and upgrades.

• Troubleshoot routing, switching, and connectivity issues.

• Monitor and maintain enterprise network environments.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

What We’re Looking For

• 5-8+ years of Network Operations, NOC, or Network Engineering experience.

• Experience supporting large enterprise networks (500+ devices).

• Strong Cisco Routing & Switching expertise.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • OSPF, BGP, EIGRP

  • STP, VTP

  • TCP/IP and OSI Model

  • Packet capture and Wireshark analysis

  • Cisco IOS-XE devices

• Experience with network monitoring and ticketing tools.

Nice to Have

• CCNA and/or ITIL Certification.

• Cisco Wireless or Cisco ISE experience.

• TACACS and authentication/authorization knowledge.

• Experience supporting telecommunications networks.
