Job summary

APW Tech in the Philippines is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to strengthen cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and security operations across enterprise IT environments in Metro Manila.

You will lead vulnerability assessments, monitor risks, review firewall rules, and develop automation using APIs and scripting, coordinating with IT teams to remediate findings and produce clear security reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security.
• Strong knowledge of network, Windows/Linux, database, and web application security.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4+, Security+, CEH, AZ-500, or AZ-900.
• Experience with Tenable One, Wiz, Tufin, ServiceNow, Hadrian, Snyk, GitHub Copilot, Ubuntu, macOS, and Windows 11.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IT teams to remediate and verify security findings
• Track and report security remediation activities
• Prepare security documentation, reports, and project requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of network, Windows/Linux, database, and web application security
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4+, Security+, CEH, AZ-500, or AZ-900
