You will analyze findings, prioritize remediation, and coordinate with admins to close gaps while supporting security policy development and PoC testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of cyber security, IT security compliance, or related experience.
• Good working knowledge of networks, databases, Windows and Linux OS security, and web apps.
• Certifications in ITIL v4+, cyber security (Security+, CEH), and cloud (AZ-500 or AZ-900).
• Familiarity with tools: Tenable One, Wiz, Tufin, ServiceNow, GitHub Copilot, Hadrian, Snyk, Ubuntu, macOS, Windows 11.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Job description

What You'll Do

• Administer vulnerability assessment and baseline tools such as Tenable One, Hadrian, and Wiz, and create assessment, discovery, and baseline scans.
• Analyze, risk-assess, and prioritize vulnerability findings across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Review perimeter and host-based firewall rules and recommend optimization and hardening measures.
• Build and maintain security automation workflows using APIs, scripting, and platform integrations.
• Coordinate remediation with system administrators and application owners; track, report, and elevate overdue findings.
• Assist with software installation reviews for end users.
• Support security policies, business cases, and proof-of-concept (PoC) testing documentation.
• Create and follow up on tickets with the appropriate system administrators.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of cyber security, IT security compliance, or related experience.
• Good working knowledge of computer networks, databases, Windows and Linux OS security, and web applications.
• Relevant certifications in ITIL (v4 or above), cyber security (e.g., Security+, CEH), and cloud (e.g., AZ-500 or AZ-900).
• Familiarity with tools in our client’s environment: Tenable One, Wiz, Tufin, ServiceNow, GitHub Copilot, Hadrian, Snyk, Ubuntu, macOS, and Windows 11.
