Job summary

H.S. POW CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is seeking a capable Heavy Equipment Supervisor to oversee daily operations of bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders, cranes, and haul trucks in Quiapo, Manila. You will coordinate equipment usage to meet project timelines and maintain logs and service records.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA safety practices, train operators, and work with maintenance staff to resolve issues, with visits across Luzon as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in heavy equipment operations; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction or industrial equipment and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in using equipment management systems or maintenance tracking software.
• Valid driver's license; heavy equipment operator certification is an asset.
• Willing to be assigned in Quiapo, Manila, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to inspect site visits to active projects across Luzon as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders, cranes, and haul trucks.
• Schedule and coordinate equipment usage to support project timelines.
• Monitor operator performance and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance scheduling to minimize downtime.
• Work with mechanics and maintenance staff to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment logs, usage reports, and service records.
• Train and evaluate equipment operators and ensure appropriate certifications are up to date.
• Implement and enforce safety policies, including pre-operation checklists and hazard assessments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding heavy equipment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other departments regarding equipment needs and priorities.
