Job summary

EZM Movers Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a geologist to lead field surveys, supervise drilling, and log cores.

You will analyze geotechnical and geophysical data using modeling and GIS tools, and prepare comprehensive technical reports to support project planning. You will evaluate ground conditions, hazards, and provide recommendations while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological surveys and field investigations including mapping, sampling, drilling supervision, and core logging.
• Analyze geological, geotechnical, and geophysical data using modeling and GIS tools.
• Prepare detailed technical reports such as geological assessments, feasibility studies, and interpretative reports.
• Evaluate ground conditions and geological hazards to support engineering design and project planning.
• Provide expert recommendations on soil, rock, groundwater, and structural geology concerns.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior geologists, reviewing their fieldwork and analytical outputs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients to communicate findings and project risks.
