Job summary

Global Geologica in Clark, Philippines is seeking a data‑savvy geoscience professional to join our team. You will clean, validate, and standardize historical drilling, assay, geochemical, and tenement data for seamless integration into databases and 3D geological models.

You’ll perform rigorous QA/QC on GIS datasets, manage cloud‑based repositories, and write SQL and Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: geology-focused degree; 1–3 years work experience preferred.
• Proficient GIS skills, preferably QGIS.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivots).
• Basic-to-intermediate SQL and Python (pandas) for data work.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Geological Data Cleaning & Modeling: Clean and standardize datasets for databases and 3D modeling.
• Spatial & GIS Quality Control: QA/QC on spatial datasets, verify CRS, metadata, and mappings.
• Data Management & Client Coordination: Maintain GIS repositories in cloud platforms and ensure deliverable quality.
• Workflow Automation & Data Pipelines: Write SQL and Python scripts to automate data tasks; document processes.
• Continuous Improvement & AI Optimization: Leverage AI tools to optimize GIS and documentation workflows.
