Job Description
- Conduct geological surveys and analyze the physical structure of the Earth.
- Conduct fieldwork to collect samples and gather data (rock, soil, water).
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and make recommendations based on geological data. Clear and concise written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists on site assessments and project planning.
- Utilize computer software to create geological models and interpret data.
- Prepare Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and Permitting
- Apply expertise in geological principles, mapping, data analysis, and software applications (GIS, CAD, modeling software).
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Analyze complex geological problems and develop effective solutions.
- Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations.
- Monitor water quality, air quality, and ground stability to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Deal with government agencies and various clients
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field
- Experience Level: 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in geological mapping and data interpretation software
