Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to ensure the safety and reliability of autonomous robotic systems for vehicle control.

You will define safety requirements, conduct risk analyses, and implement safety measures across the product lifecycle, collaborating with hardware and software teams to meet ISO 26262 and related standards. You will review safety verification activities, prepare safety documentation, and participate in audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field ( Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Science).
• 10+ years of experience in functional safety engineering.
• CFSE/CFSP/AFSP or similar certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance across projects.
• Develop and implement functional safety concepts for autonomous vehicle control systems.
• Perform HARA, STPA, FMEA, and FTA analyses and document findings.
