Job summary

Multico Prime Power, Inc. seeks a Safety Officer to ensure full compliance with OH&S laws, regulations, and company policies. You will monitor activities, conduct inspections and audits, maintain records, and develop emergency plans to safeguard staff and operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related safety field, with 3–5 years of safety management experience. OSHA expertise and SO certifications are highly valued. Licensed Engineer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in occupational health and safety management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, local labor laws, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety auditing.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred; SO2/SO3/SO4 certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor workplace activities to identify safety risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance reports.
• Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
• Conduct safety orientations for new hires, contractors, and visitors.
• Organize and facilitate safety training, toolbox meetings, and emergency drills.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
