Job summary

Mroads is seeking a Senior Full Stack Lead to guide a high-performing team building scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL in a hybrid setup in Mexico City. You will mentor engineers, own technical direction, and ensure code quality while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities include architecture guidance, sprint planning in Agile/Scrum, performance optimization, and collaboration with product, UX, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, GraphQL, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable REST and GraphQL APIs; microservices and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Redux or Context API; SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Proficient with Git and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Full Stack and Frontend developers with technical leadership.
• Contribute to application development, debugging, code reviews, and complex issue resolution.
• Design and develop scalable, secure web apps using React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps and stakeholders to deliver highquality solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices: clean code, reusable components, automated testing, design patterns.
• Lead sprint planning, estimation, and technical execution in Agile/Scrum.
• Review performance, scalability, security, and maintainability; mentor through coaching and pair programming.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical issues when needed.
