Job summary

Mroads is seeking a Senior Full Stack Lead to guide a high-performing team building scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL in a hybrid setup in Mexico City. You will mentor engineers, own technical direction, and ensure code quality while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities include architecture guidance, sprint planning in Agile/Scrum, performance optimization, and collaboration with product, UX, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, GraphQL, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable REST and GraphQL APIs; microservices and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Redux or Context API; SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Proficient with Git and modern software development practices.

This is a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Full Stack and Frontend developers. Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and code quality standards across projects. Drive engineering best practices including clean code, reusable components, automated testing, and design patterns. Lead sprint planning, estimation, and technical execution in Agile/Scrum environments. Review application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. Mentor developers through technical coaching, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical production issues when needed.

Required Technical Skills

10+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years leading engineering teams. Strong hands-on expertise in: React.js Node.js GraphQL JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development Experience building scalable REST and GraphQL APIs. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Strong proficiency with Git and modern software development practices.
